BENEFITS OF ADDING A BASEMENT WINDOW

Making Your Basement a Livable Space

The main benefit of a window well installation is making your basement and your home a safer space by allowing another way of exit – in case of fire or any other hazardous situation. Local code may require you to have egress window wells installed in your finished basement for secondary emergency escape.  Even if the basement is unfinished, it is still an excellent idea to add an egress window well.
