Exterior silicone caulk is the most commonly used type of exterior caulk because it is extremely durable and water resistance. Silicone is also a very flexible, maintaining it’s flexibility after it has cured. This makes silicon a good option for sealing drafty windows and doors. Silicone is usually not a paintable, hence many manufacturers offer several different color options.
UV RESISTANT AND PAINTABLE
Polyurethane
Polyurethane is one of the best materials to use for sealing the exterior of your commercial property. This exterior caulk is UV resistant and has similar flexibility to silicone, allowing it to absorb impact damage or expand and contract with ambient temperatures. It can also be painted and it is often used to seal between various types of material like metal and wood.
MAINTENANCE CAULKING
Sealing Problematic Areas
Whether it’s an old building with leaks and cracks or a new building that needs waterproofing, caulking will keep the property sealed. Because of its versatility, caulk can be applied in many different scenarios.
